Warped rotors -what should I get?
Tried to do a search but it appears to be down.
I am actually satisfied with the performance of the stock brakes but am pissed they have warped with aprox 15,000 miles. What are suitable pads and rotors(less likely to warp) to serve as a basic upgrade? Would rather not replace calipers if I don't have to.

No need to change the calipers. Maybe paint them like I did, but that's all you need to worry Caliper wise.
I just did my brakes and couldn't be happier. Cartek actually did the brakes and did a great jid like always!! I have a 2002 Coupe.
Went with the Baer slotted and cross dilled set up with the Zinc Wash! (no Rust ) Also went with the Hawk Street Pads!!
The looks alone are worth it!
Get them from Sean at LAPD! Fantastic price, but still not a $300 Mod.

No more worries regarding warping and the have made the car that much more enjoyable to drive. The only bad thing is at stop lights.
Even people who don't care about these type of tings just stare at those calipers. Makes the Car look laike a Race Car!

I went with the Baer slotted/drilled and Hawk HPS pads....no warpage after 15K+ miles....I warped 2 sets of factory rotors the first was replaced under warranty...the dealer refused on the second.

You guys need to educate me a little......I thought the Baer rotors started life as Stock GM rotors that Baer slots and drills???Is this incorrect? If it is true I would suspect they would warp just like the stock??? Do the slots help them cool more evenly or something?

I replaced mine with Baer Enhanced rotors and hawk pads and am very happy. There is no need to replace your caliper's. Hope this help's!
