Default fuel sender seals

Does anybody know if when the fuel sending units are replaced for the drop to zero problem, do new seals come with the sending units or original ones used over? I had the tsb done back in oct 01 for that problem with 34 k on the clock. Now have 36050 and 8 days out of warranty there is fuel dripping out of right side tank area. Had puddle of raw gas under car yesterday. The dealer has it now and is telling me sender seal is bad....approx. $225.00 fix. My understanding is any G.M. fix is 12 months/12k miles......Any opinions? Bob O.

The replacement sender comes with a new seal.If torqued properly,it shouldnt leak...No reason why it shouldnt be covered...

By the way,the sender seal is about $80 from GM
