Default Troubleshooting Question - Service Active Handling/TCS/ABS

Hey everyone. I am having trouble with my C5 Corvette.

I am getting the following errors:

28-TCS - Traction Control System C1225 RF Excessive Wheel Speed Variation
28-TCS - Traction Control System C1232 LF Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
28-TCS - Traction Control System C1242 BPMV Pump Motor Ground Circuit Open
28-TCS - Traction Control System C1287 Steering Sensor Rate Malfunction

This is in addition to gett errors for service TCS, ABS, and Active Handling.

I have been checking this site and I saw that it might be my EBCTM Module, however, when I went to absfixer.com, I did not see the codes above associated with the EBCTM Module.

Any suggestions on what to check first before I send them the module for repair?

I have a 2001 Manual Trans Convertible.

Thanks a ton,

Max

This is likely not your ebcm causing these codes. Even in the unlikely event it is the ebcm the abs repair places can not repair this problem. The wheel speed codes are usually related to the wiring or connecters, steering sensors are a fairly common failure item and requires replacement of the sensor. The bpmv is also likely wiring related. Check the connector on you ebcm and make sure it is clean and making a good connection with all the pins.
