Up until 2004 all LS engines had 24x crankshaft reluctor wheels.
The cam reluctor was machined into the camshaft and the 1x signal was read by a cam sensor in the valley at the back of the engine.
The camgear used therefore had no timing lumps and was held on by 3 bolts.
