SECURITY Light
My SECURITY came on while driving and remained on. Owner's manual says to take to dealer for inspection of security system. Anyone know of preliminary test I can do w/o having to take car in to stealer?

There has been some discussion regarding the possible cause of this. One theory [sounded pretty damn good to me] suggested that this occurs if the pellet in the key loses contact with whatever circuit it completes while in the ignition. Related thoughts then turned to the weight of keychains and rough rides as contributing factors.
