Issues w/Driver's Door not Unlocking...

I've seen a few topics that has talked about it, but figure I'd ask what was the final outcome of your problem. What solved the issue? It is intermittent w/the key fobs and with the lock/unlock button on the door. Sometimes it will unlock, sometimes it won't and I'm forced to have to use the kep to enter the car or manually unlock the door from the inside.

Another problem I've had recently is reverse is a bear... sometimes I think I'm in reverse and I give it some gas after coming off the clutch and "grrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiinddddd" and other times I have to fish it through some gears just to get it to go into reverse. What gives? Any ideas or suggestions?

I just got the car a month ago and love driving it, just wanted to address a few of these problems before I take it to the dealer...rather not, but if I have to so be it. :seeya

The door not unlocking. You need to have the driver's side door control module replaced.

You will 1st have to check the adjustment on the shifter because it is important that it is dead on.This is done by aligning the pin on the shifter (if it is still there) with the hole on the shift rod while in neutral...More than likely,you will need to replace the reverse gear.The good news is that the trans does not have to be removed to do it,simply remove the tail shaft housing...

That is what I found my problem to be. After the dealer would not let me watch the tech work while the car was worked on by the guy who previously damaged it I took the car home and diagnosed the problem myself. The problem was intermittent but was happening frequently. I found that the lock actuator was getting 10.5+ volts when the lock worked and less than 3 volts when it did not. I suspect bad contacts in the relay but the relay is soldered to the circuit board in the door control module (not serviceable) so the whole module will need to be replaced.
