Default Rear Handling Question. Technical Help/Experience Needed

Hey guys, I just replaced my rear tires with new OE tires (EMT's) and ever since then it seems that when I corner hard, or take a hard turn at normal Corvette speeds the rear end is now loose and almost wobbly.

My worn tires had bald patches, but I sure as heck felt more comfortable taking a hard turn or corner than I do with these new ones.

Anyone have any insight on this? Do I need to smoke them a little, or is this a balancing issue?

Thanks.

New tires do require a brake in period to get the mold release agents off. I might be off here, but 200 miles comes to mind as a general rule of thumb.

Hey Now;
Also you might check the pressure in the rear tires. I know sometimes they jack up the psi to over 35 :yesnod:
