Paint inner rims?
Took of the wheels to clean the inside of the rim, cause they looked bad. I sanded with 220, 400, 600, then 1500. Then rubbing compound, polish, Flitz metal polish, and finally a wax.
If there was any paint in the inner rim, it's long gone now. It oxidized pretty badly. I'm wondering if I should paint them to prevent this? If so, the local store stuff is usually crap. I have experience painting rims, and the paint doesn't last, though I just wanna paint the inside. Rustoleum products suck, but the Duplicolor isn't bad. The Eastwood 2K is pretty good, and will even resist acetone.
