IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
StealthC5 here,I'm at Cartek right now posting under Wide Open Throttle's name.My new aluminum block 415Cid motor was fired for the first time about an hour ago,too late to dyno but the car is strapped down on the dyno right now ready to go first thing in the morning.I'm hoping to beat the hell out of this car tomorrow afternoon at the Corvette Challenge.When I backed up onto the dyno and cracked the throttle a few times I could tell this motor is a whole different animal than my old iron block 408 mild set up which will be going into an F-body and will get a healthy nitrous shot,let me just say the F-body is getting a parachute installed in the next few weeks.We're running my car with my old Tpis headers on it for now,the new 1 7/8 headers and a new custom intake go on in the next two weeks.With the lighter aluminum block and a more agressive cam and compression ratio and my new Vararam air intake I'm hoping for some lower times out of this beast.
