Starting Issue...Turn key, nothing. HELP
I had this problem before, a couple of weeks ago and posted to the forum http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...y-nothing.html
I took Bill Curlee' s advice and went through a series of checks. Also, since I only had one key, I had a new one made because the chip in the one I originally had was loose and worn. My car started immediately. I erased all codes and drove it without incident for the past couple of weeks, until today.
This morning, turn key and nothing again. This also happened at lunch and when I was leaving work. This was the first time since I got the new key. Pulled the codes and they were 1) PCM - P1631 HC
2) BCM - B2721 HC 3) IPC - B0516 H and 4) HVAC - B0361 H
Could it just be the key cylinder?
Also, the AC is making a "whirring" noise and today when I would hit the AC button it would automatically turn itself off. That can't be good...
