manual trans removal help
im trying to disconect the trans from the tt and im not having much luck getting it to move. iv got it tilted down etc. also im doing this with the tt still attached to the engine. i do still have the shifter rod connected. but im not sure how to unhook it. i can only woble the tranny up and down a millimeter but cant get it to slide off at all, what am i forgeting? and how do i disconect the shifter rod?

update-----i can get it slid off the tt about 2 inches but now im pretty sure the shift rod is whats stopping it from moving so i need to know how to remove this rod with the tt hanging down at that slight angle
