1. Hazards do not work (even when holding the hazard button depressed).
2. Brake lights DO NOT work under any circumstance (with headlights on or off).
3. All other lights are functioning when I turn the headlights on, including the tail lights.
4. With tail lights on, intensity does not change when I depress the brake pedal.
5. Cruise control will not engage (I assume because there's an issue in the brake circuit).
All fuses have been checked are in tact. I'm guessing that the hazard switch has failed, but need some guidance on solving this one. Thanks.
It is either the hazzard switch or blinker assembly. I would put my money on the blinker assembly. I had the same problem and replaced both, first the hazzard...no help, then the blinker..all fixed
Do you have any LED's installed? Sequential turn signals? Seems these add-ons muck up the lights. You may need a JWM Hyperflash Harness. This item solved a similar problem with my '01.
Does the 3rd brake light work? If yes, then it can't be the hazard switch because the 3rd brake light power is tapped off between the brake switch and the hazard switch.

Do the signals work?
We need this input to determine the problem. Knowing if the 3rd brake light works is critical at this time.
Thanks for all the input guys. Was neither the hazard switch, blinker switch nor multi-function switch. Mechanic that did a tranny R&R for me must have pinched a conductor during the reinstall. Upon moving some cables around and applying the brake pedal we discovered the hazard switch fuse was blowing. At that point we knew it wasn't the hazard switch (because we had already replaced it). Played around with the pigtail at the back end and made sure all the cables running to the lights in back were loose and not pinched and problem solved.
