New engine, throwing P0103 MAF high frequency code?
I posted this in the roadracing section but didn't get much of a response. I'm desperate so I'll take a shot here.
Just fired up my new engine tonight. Ls6 with Texas speed 228r cam and kn filter. Engine ran ok little bouncy at idle when coming off throttle input but then settles down. Throwing a p0103 code MAF high frequency. Changed out to a brand new Texas speed 100 mm maf, throwing same code. Any ideas? MAF plug getting ground on black, 5v on yellow, and alternator voltage on red.
I'm a little confused. I called Doug at ECS (they put the base tune on my PCM) and he is telling me that the MAF sensor 3 wire plug should read 5v each on the outside wires, and ground in the center. I have alternator voltage on the pink wire (12-14), and 5v on the yellow wire. According to the Chevy diagram, this is correct? The pink wire gets full ignition power, or am I reading it wrong?
Any help is appreciated, I'm trying to get this car back on track by next weekend.
Lol ok, damn that was fast. Ok so no need to start pulling my harness apart. I'm going to try to rotate the MAF, as right now I've got it mounted upside down for hood clearance at the plug. I'll also clean it real good, even though it's brand new. Beyond that, any suggestions are appreciated!
BTW thank you for your help Doug, and the prompt correction!
