Do your stock brakes do this???
Every time I have to nail my brakes really hard..including up to the point where the ABS kicks in the pedal gets rock hard the next time I have to brake. The pedal is pretty firm to begin with but it's gets extemely firm after I have to nail them. The brakes still work perfectly..they're just extremely firm for quite awhile afterwards. I wish they'd stay that firm all the time!!!

That never happened with my 2000 in 42k miles! I would have it checked!

What you describe has happened to me on the track. Always right after the ABS kicks in. It returns to normal very quickly though - usually by the next corner.
