Ok i leave the vette parked in my driveway, and my driveway is about a 65 degree angle. I leave it in gear, cause we all know how great the c5 e brake is! lol. I come out and the thing is at the bottom of the drive!! I get in and start it and CLING! CLING! CLING! :mad :mad :mad WT-F??? i say. it sounded like there was glass breaking underneath the car. I drove it into the garage and let it run for a sec. The noise got quieter, but it is still noticeable! what is that? does anybody have any ideas? any help would be great cause i need to fix it soon the car is up for sale! Thanks my brothas!!
hey what kind of damage can being in gear and having it towed cause......that is the same kind of thing here isn't it.......anyone ever hear of damage caused by towing in gear?
Congradulations, at 65 degrees, you have the steepest driveway in the history of mankind! If you parked a Sherman Tank on that steep a slope, with the tread locked in position, it would slide down the slope. :D :D
I've told you a BILLION times not to exaggerate! :D As for the noise, if your driveway is steep enough the oil pump pick-up could be sucking air and not oil, thus causing a sickening noise. I sure hope it's nothing serious.
