It's the model Elm327 v1.5 and 2000 corvette. I've connected to my 2013 kia optima and 05 lexus rx330 w/o a problem. I also checked the disable ELM327 auto timing which it says to try if it has a problem talking to the car. It just goes through checking protocols until it asks if my ignition is on. I use it for my top down technologies and on occasion my hp tuners so I know the obd II port is ok.
I've got one and tried using 3 different Apps to hook it up with the Vette, failing each time when searching for the correct protocol. Works fine with my Jag and Ford. Didn't bother looking into it any further as I didn't buy it to use on my C5.
Wow. Can you tell me what protocol you are using that worked? Mine works on every car but the vette and it will not find a protocol that will work on the vette.
The interfaces are not the same.
My interface is made by Generic according to Amazon while yours is a little bigger and made by OEM.
I can't guarantee that mine will work in your car but I don't see why not if it works in my car.
So I just went and purchased torque pro and noticed it says this
Cheap clone versions of this adapter (mostly found on amazon/ebay) may not function with protocol J1850-PWM.
I got mine on amazon. Looks like I'll send it back. I got the "generic" one from amazon like you have. It looks like I've got the cheap knockoff. A whole $3 cheaper than that "Generic" one.

Well I went and got the "OEM" from amazon like you have and it does the same thing the "generic" one did. Works in all cars but the vette. Got the larger 327 (non mini) and it works in the vette like a champ. I'd really like to get a mini one working. I've restarted my phone a few times (have the Note II) and it's not worked yet unfortunately. tried to hard code the protocol and it still didn't work w/ the mini. I don't know where else I can buy this other than amazon or ebay. I can't find an authorized reseller for this ELM327 to make sure I don't have a cheap knockoff as torque states.
Well
I don't know what to tell you.
It works fine on mine and I'm also using a Note 2.
I also bought this one for the right angled cable I couldn't find by itself.
It fits real nice to a splitter so I can also run the window valet
and the ELM.
The modules are tucked under the dash up the pillar.
Somehow I misplaced the module that came with the cable and can't find it.
I was going to get another one for my Lincoln LS
like the one you just got so PM me if you want me to take it off your hands.

I'll keep looking for my "lost" module.
Maybe the wife put it somewhere while "cleaning" LOL!
With the right angle cable it doesn't matter how long it is.
