lost under hood light lense

Default lost under hood light lense
Does any one where I can find lense for under hood light.On 2001 convertible or do I have to buy entire assembly. Thank you.

For $20 you can buy a whole new light. The only difficulty is that it's riveted to the hood.

Thanks maybe I just by assembly and just use lense.since it is riveted.

I didn't have one when I first bought my car. A buddy gave me one he had left over from a hood swap. It was soon gone as well. Somehow either the fitment or vibrations knocked it loose...and it's not getting replaced again...

I bought just the lens from the stealership just a year or so ago, IIR it was ~$10.00

Put a small dab of clear silicone on the interface when installing the lens, that will keep it from popping off by itself.
