Hi! I've been doing some poking around but I'm still not sure about this and can't seem to find it clearly stated.
I have a 2k frc. How do I know if it has active handling option?
If it doesn't have active handling. Will I not have to worry about front to rear tire stagger and for that matter having tpms? I don't want them! And I'm OK with hitting the reset button.
I think they all do. Is there a round button on your center console right in front of the storage cover?
Or are you asking about the selective ride control option?
If you have stability control there is a front to rear tire diameter ratio you need to stay close to. As far as TPMS I think you can do away with them with no ill effects other than a trouble code. A tune may get rid of them. If I'm mistaken someone will come slap me around pretty quick.
not sure when it became standard. i know the first couple years active handling was an option and some cars only had traction control. it's one of the reasons two different ebcms exist for the 90s c5s
by 2001 i'm sure it was but i have no idea about the year 2000 specifically
Thanks for all of the responses. I'm learning these thing slowly! So if what I've read is correct. The signal from the tpms is relevant to the active handling but the traction control and wheel stagger has something to do with a different sensor? I will go and look for that code in the glove! Thank you!
