Re: Beginner needs advice on exhaust and intake.... (tcreme)
I am fairly new to the forum, and I am planning to start with the exhaust and then the intake as well. You may want to check out Mid America (www.madvet.com), or Ecklers. They both have huge free catalogs, and performance kits that may save you a few bucks.
Cool Coupe could you post some pics of the installed K&N FIPK? I was thinking of going with that one too, but am curious as to how it looks on the car.

I seriously doubt you will save money by going through Mid America. Check their prices, then check Vendors sites that support the CF. I think you will see a big difference, I mean Huge difference. MA sells most everything at retail. Most Vendors here dont even know how to spell Retale, I mean Retail.

I have vortex and Borla Stingers installed and still feel like I gained more performance from programming by Ed Wright.
My car feels much faster than before programming. Ed also said LS1's run best between 190-210 on dyno, thermostat
not needed. With fan turn ons reset with stock thermostat my car never goes over 210 thanks to Ed. ( My 2 cents) :reddevil
