Please give me your opinion as I have an appt. this afternoon. I've never taken a car in for an alignment - does the mechanic hand me a computer print out that should match these figures when he's done?
don't run zero camber. you will have no tire wear going half a degree negative. in corners during normal driving zero camber will tend to run the tire hard on the outside edge. toe in only amplifies this. you don't need much neg camber if you don't drive hard. maybe neg .5 front and .3 rear would be enough to give you even tire wear and improved handling
toe specs are also quoted in decimal on the machine which would be roughly .02 in each side front and .04 in each side rear
Ya, I'd run -0.4* to -0.6* camber all around and equal toe front and rear.
One other thing is to make sure they get everything equal. Don't accept "within spec". Within spec can allow the rears tires to both point off to the right or left which can make the car self-steer under acceleration as one example of why not.
