Been running hot here in Austin - hit 255 and shut down the AC last week in heavy traffic.
So I finally took the advice of the CF and cleaned the condenser and radiator on the 99. The amount of crud that came out indicated that it had never been cleaned (I'm the third owner).
So I now appear to be running about 12 degrees cooler in average driving. Haven't tried it yet in heavy stop and go.
Give it a try - you'll like the results.

Didn't mention that I sealed the gaps between condenser and radiator and between radiator and fan frame with foam. This can's hurt airflow.
