I was changing mn6 fluid yesterday for the first time since getting my Vert almost 2 years ago, it's a 2001 with stock transmission, anyways wondering why some have a sensor and mine does not on the fill plug. I can see the wire and connector that would go to the sensor if I had one, but someone has it taped up on the fuel lines above, why is this?
BTW, after changing tranny fluid, rear diff fluid, ranger method on the clutch, and cleaning the throttle body....wow, car really woke back up, lol

Transmissions in Z06 cars have temp sensor where fill plug is. The other "wire and connector" you're seeing is for the skip-shift solenoid. Been by-passed.

Thanks, knew I had the skip shift bypass but done prior to purchasing the car.
