using a little oil??
My c5 with 85,000 miles- all soft miles has been using a little oil. A friend had it from 15k miles until I bought it from him at 80k miles. we very seldom push it- except when we did vettes for vettes and did 151 down back stretch!!! I have always been told NEVER fill you oil to the full line always fill it a little above half-way- engine runs better and saves the pollutions stuff. That being said about every three months I get a low engine oil message- I check it and it is a little below the bottom line. I put in a little over half quart- ok for another 3 months. My friend said it was like that when he had it. Is that normal???
