Re: Air Bridge install ... (NoMercy)
It's pretty easy. I got a red coupler and its starting to get black marks from the hoodliner. I don't know how to prevent the marks other than getting a black coupler.
Simple, Bill. The hardest part was getting the slick silcone coupler over the mouth of the throttle body. Just be careful with the thin wires on the MAF - don't touch them.
Damn, that beast just keep gettin' better and better! :D
I am about to change the stock air bridge for a carbon Fiber with a smooth coupler. Anything special that I should do??
Or is it as simple as it looks!! :D
Thanks!!
All that stuff you had done to your car and you hadn't swapped these pieces yet? Shame on you...
FWIW, it is VERY easy to do. I put the coupler on the TB first and then put the air bridge on the coupler. Took about 2 minutes. :yesnod:
I was real easy. Now I feel pretty stooopid for asking!!
The smooth coupler is a bit too long though. With the Nitrous, the space between the throttle body and the air bridge is slightly shortened. Right now the bottom clamp is almost centered on the coupler. The coupler is squeezed waaaay tight onto the air bridge. I guess I'll trim it off that extra later. Thanks again!!
