Old threads
Maybe someone can answer this, I was searching for technical info and found a few threads that were leading up to the solution, someone bumps it with a question about closure on the issue and it gets locked. Why? I thought the technical aspect of the forum was helpful except for the dead end threads.

we changed the policy on locking threads past 45 days if they are technical in nature...exceptions are if there are missing pictures etc.
