Default Driver's Lumbar Support

My lumbar support adjustment and side bolster adjustment on the sport seat on the driver's side only have stopped working. There is a soft whirring noise when I try one of the switches but no adjustment takes place. the passenger side works fine. Any ideas?

The support is actually an inflatable bag inside the seat. My guess is if you are hearing a whir, then the motor that inflates the bag is still working, which is good news. :) But, it likely means that one of the plastic tubes that affixes to the bag has come off, so it is not getting inflated.

Getting inside the seat is not too hard, but it can be time consuming. Since it's both the lumbar and the bolster, the problem may be either behind the "insert" in the seat or underneath the seat bottom cushion, rather than inside the leather. To understand what I mean, here's a link: http://www.vetteessentials.com/instr...tructions.html

Go to the 4th set of instructions, entitled "C5 Custom Seat Cover Installation Procedure". Getting to just the bottom of the seat should take less than 30 minutes, which involves taking the seat out of the car. If you have to take leather off, that'll increase the time 2 or 3 fold.

Good luck. :seeya

Presuming that the whirr you're hearing is the pump and it is working good. I would check the hoses that pass the air to the bladders. I would think you have a hose off on the pump.
