Help w/ paint matching
Bought my 2000 Navy Metallic Vette about 3 months ago. In great shape, but has roughly 12 small (about 2mm) paint chips on the hood and a big scrape on the driver side mirror.
I paid $29 for a Genicolor paint pen. Sounded like a great idea, but when I used it the touch up paint was much too light. Made the chips stand out more than before. I'll try to get my $$ back from Genicolor.
I noticed on some older threads CF members have recommended Paintscratch, DR Paint Chip and going directly to the Chevy dealer.
I would love to learn from your experience w/ touch up paint.
Do you guys have good experience w/ one of these...or is there something else the works better?
