My car has been pretty reliable, but something wierd happened last night (when I was leaving the office at 2 AM after a 17 hour day). I turned the key and there was no reaction from the starter, but the DIC indicated every error message, one after the other.
Took all night to get a tow truck, the battery was fine. Got it to the dealer and now the dealer is saying they have never seen anything like it (and they specialize in Corvettes).
They confirmed that all the codes but the ABS were set off, and that the car does not send power to the starter.
Has anyone heard about this, or worse had it happen.
check your passenger side floor see if its wet,a/c drain hose could be stopped up causing the the water to backup and drain onto your bcm that is under the kick panel.hope it didnt fry the bcm

I concur. I've seen your exact problems occur first hand to a friends at the drag strip. His finally dried out enough to work.
just a little f.y.i.,get a large zip lock bag put your bcm inside zip it closed by the wires at least you wont have to worry about your bcm going up in smoke, you were lucky may not be so next time, mike
