Putting a thinner sidewall on your car would decrease the amount that the sidewall would be able to roll in a curve, so I would assume it would better performance. However, if you have less sidewall, then you might notice a harsher ride.
What do you mean in a straight line, if you mean while dragging, then that is impossible, unless I spun a lot. I think the people ahead answered my question, by decreasing the sidewall I will be able to keep the same circumference in my wheel as I did with my 15's so I will not decrease the start off speed.
If you could explain what you mean buddha, that would be great...

Tires with smaller sidewalls are also harder to predict. Thinks about it this way, when you are in the family car or truck or whatever with big sidewalls, you feel the tire start to lean, or turn under, then squeal. This does not happen on very small sidewall tires, 20s, especially in the rain. There is much less room for error when driving at the edge of the tires abilities. :yesnod:
