C5 Engine Codes
I recently purchased a 1999 FRC Corvette. I will have pictures up soon still getting them up on the computer. I have been getting some odd engine codes and was wondering if anyone had any similar issues. I am wondering if it is the Alternator or something else
I purchased the Vette last Tuesday. Yesterday I replaced one of the AC pulleys and the AC belt (no more whistling) I also replaced the Coolant Sensor and the Battery.
Now here is where the issue comes in. The battery is less than a year old and was for the most part dead. I was getting different codes like ABS and Traction Control lights. I thought it might be the Battery since it was dead. I replaced the battery but have still seen those lights come on, although, not every time I turn on the car. I have been getting codes like
TCS C1226
BCM B0605
BCM 2583
IPC U1176
Now I have looked up these codes. I have not had a chance to dig into until this weekend to see if something is actually malfunctioning.
I was just wondering if anyone has had the same issues or an idea of what could be causing this. Thank You
