Help. Need sugestions on programming 99 coupe.
Ok, I have had my 99 coupe for 3 weeks now and have picked up 3.42 rearend from one forum member and am closing the deal on a SY3500 from another. The car has 3.15 gears, ported MAF ends, RMS twin air intake, B&B Triflow exhaust. When I have the SY3500 and 3.42 installed what kind of programming should I do? Steve Cole: I have heard nothing but good things about his programming and horror stories about customer service. Ed Wright: Ive heard some good some bad. SuperChips: have no data. MMS in LA: any input? West Coast Corvettes: I've heard pretty good results from them. Or other options. I have thought about LS1 edit but am a little neavous. Thanks for your help. Thios stuff is expensive, so I only want to do it once and get it right the first time.

Sounds like Ed Wright basic programming with rev limiter change would be all you would need. I know I'm very satisfied with the results I got. (Firmer shifts, runs cooler, more torque, and more horsepower) :reddevil

In addition to the obvious "who" part of the question, I think it's equally important to think about the tools they'll be using. ;) I think if you want hassle free programming in a timely fashion and have a pretty simple set up that Ed Wright makes a lot of sense.
