Default Checking oil level in D1SC Procharger

Guys,

I installed a Pro Charger tensioning bracket for my D1SC supercharer. This changed the orientation of the holes that house the oil dip stick. I installed the stainless braided tube that allows for easy oil changes. I put 6 oz of oil into the supercharger. When I read the dip stick in the lower position, it shows to much oil. If I switch the dipstick to the upper position, it shows no oil. I been on You Tube and the Forum looking at Pics of D1SCs. I see the dip stick in both locations.

Any ideas guys ? Should I just add the 6 oz of oil and don't worry about it ?

Are you talking about clocking the housing or the unit?

I removed the gear case cover for another reason. The black end of the dipstick (7.5 inch) got caught in the end of dipstick passage at the hole for the plug. I found and removed the end of the dipstick. Looks like the oiler gear was not relocated properly when this was previously re-clocked. I can move the oiler gear. I still can't see why the dipstick is getting hung up. Its getting hung up somewhere under the input gear at the top of of the dipstick passage as it exits through the plug hole. I am not sure if this is because there is no cover on this passage. The old dipstick (7.5 inch) was previously installed into the covered passage.

A&A instructions show it going into the uncovered passage. Guys with P1SCs or D1SC any thoughts. Both models have the same gear box.

Last but, not least. I am looking for a good oil seal puller to replace the gear box oil seal. Any suggestions ?

Based on the way the volute is clocked, the small dipstick (7.5 inch) shows too much oil. That would be true for the larger dipstick (9.5 inch). I would be pulling it through the bottom of the oil reservoir. As in the picture, the long dipstick (9.5 inch) would work from the top fill hole but, I can still feel it getting hung up. The bearings are not making noise. I really don't want to touch them. Output shaft bearings are very pricey !!

IDK, I just reclocked mine, and moved oil slinger, and drain plug. I just filled with 1 bottle and seems fine, but didn't check level since that is recommended amount. I added one of the drain tubes as well. I figured with the tube, it has a little less than in unit without tube. I purchased the longer dipstick to.
