Security light stays on and two interesting codes...
I know that alot of people have the same gremlin of the security light staying on when driving. Well, tonight that happened to me. I checked for codes and had two (I check every week but these were both 'H' codes):
B2721 PASS-Key Detection Circuit
B2723 PASS-Key Detection Circuit
I guess my security system is screwy. I checked the manual and it says if it comes on while driving (which it did, came on, went off and came back on again) to get it serviced immediately. Oh well, I have some other things that need to be tended to.
Any ideas on what this could be? My key isn't really dirty and it is the only key on the keyring so it would be anything on the ring bugging the pellett....

Patman36....I am experiencing the same problem. It appears that you may have some debris in the igg switch. Try some electrical componet cleaner, spray gingerly into switch and see how that reacts. In my case, I had White Faced Guages installed and believe that when the hooked the igg switch back up there must be a pinched wire somewhere. I have tried cleaning my key with IPA with no help. I have not tried the electical componet cleaner yet, but it is my next move....have you tried your second key? If so, what are the results?? Good Luck

Happens to me quite a bit, just turn it off and on and it goes away. No other codes or interesting failures. Hopefully that is all it is for now.
