Default Re-greasing caliper mounts

I have taken my brakes apart to get some of the items powdercoated. I noticed the caliper brackets have a greased tube that the actual caliper mounts to. If I clean all the grease out prior to powder coating I am unsure of what type of grease to use to put back on them before I reinstall them?? Anyone got any ideas of what to use on them? I can post a pic if need be.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

The lubricant that you should use on the caliper sliders is silicone based and available at any auto parts store. There are many brand names, just ask the counter person for silicone brake lube. Usually comes in a squeeze tube and costs about $5.00. Be sure to use a light coating where the caliper and piston contact the backing plates on the pads. Helps keep them quiet.
