I have one and love it. I was using an aluminum ****, but couldn't live with it in summer. I also prefer the shape of the Delrin ****. It doesn't heat up, and it doesn't vibrate.

I switched from a billet alluminum **** to the Delrin hardbar. I have a Hurst and it went from no noise with the alluminum **** to somewhat noisy with the Delrin. I love the feel of the Delrin so I am going to live with it. here is a pic of mine.

I have one on a Ripper and I really enjoy it. No vibration etc. Have you tried the little trick of putting wheel weights secured by tape and/or Dynomat sound insulation on the shaft of the shifter. This should fix your problem If you need more info let me know.

I had the Hardbar **** and didn't really like it. I have an MGW **** and LOVE it. No vibration and the rubber inserts keep it at a decent temp in the summer. Oh and it's on a Hurst too.

I've got the hardbar delrin **** on my Hurst and I like it. It felt a little weird at first due to the way it is turned during manufacture, it took 3-4 months use for my hand to polish it smooth but its great.

I do get a little rattle through the lever but it is not intrusive. I might see if I can fix it, but then again I might not as it lends a bit of character to the car !

It does look exactly like the picture in the forum mall, it merges into the look of the cockpit nicely and there are no problems with fitting in with the standard (cheap and nasty leather) gaiter.

I have the Hardbar Delrin **** on the stock shifter. If you Dremel off some of the thread on the bottom of the ****, it'll screw down more. It's ideal for the interface to the hand, since it doesn't transfer heat, I mean, it gets as hot as any other ****, but won't transfer heat to your hand like a billet AL ****. Don't want to be like that **** in Raider's of the Lost Ark, you know...shoot dem...shoot dem both...

I liked the Delrin **** enough to get one for my Camaro, too. It's not the prettiest thing to look at, but it does look mean, brutish, and purposeful.
