Default 3.73 Gear swap
I am purchasing some 3.73 gears for my 01 from Jegs. I was just wondering what the difference was from the Motive power gear and Precision gear? Any recommendations? See links below.....Thx

The Precision gear is for a Chev or GMC Pickup
Note the different pinion shape.

I wondered about that. It was listed as working for an 01 Vette, though it looked different.

they both say they fit though. Is one brand better than the other? Whats about average for install?

Special tools from Kent Moore are needed for the setup. Your average shop won't have them, so expect to pay a lot more than a normal gear install. RPM Transmissions or RKT56 would be a good place to start.
