Default No start....electrical problem?

I am a newer member, (Oct. 2013) and have just encountered my 1st problem with my Corvette. I have a 2004 coupe with automatic trans, 42,000 miles, that I have owned since 2008. I purchased the car from a local Chevy dealership here in Ohio. The car is stored in the winter, and driven about 5,000 miles a year.
Here is my problem; I parked the car in the garage about two weeks ago working fine at that time. Yesterday, I was going to take a drive, and found the battery dead. ( new Delco battery installed in July to replace original Delco battery ). I placed the Battery on a 6 amp charger for about 8 hours. I did monitor the charging process, and noticed the charger never dropped below 6 amps. I removed the charger, and tried to start the car. When I turned the key, there was a noise under the passenger side dash that sounded like a electrical buzzing sound and the interior lights went out. The engine did not turn over, and the lights did not come back on. I put the charger back on and left it on all night. Tried again this morning to start the car, and got the same results. Same electrical buzzing sound, again no engine turn over.
Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you, Joe Koenig..... Mentor, Ohio

Try just jumping the car. The charger may be defective. These cars have been known to have a lot of drainage to to the battery while sitting. Two weeks is a common stretch for people to find a dead battery it seems.

The buzzing noise is likely electronics and things like the fuel pump priming when you turn the key on. Depending on how pronounced the buzz is..

The battery should not go dead in 2 weeks. Check the battery voltage and make sure the cable connections to the battery are clean and tight. The lights going out when you tried to start it sure sound like a bad connection.

Default No start, electrical problem-posted earlier today

I posted a no start problem earlier today with my 2004 coupe. I just was able to start the car, no problem. It turns out that I did leave the interior light switch on the last time I drove the car. However, I was under the impression that the lights would go out after a short period of time.
Thanks to all that responded to my earlier post.
