lookin for decent forged short block
decided to sell my procharger set up and go N/A, currently runnin a LS1 stock block, hand massaged 243 heads from previous owner.
id like to score a forged bottom and send out the heads I have for the treatment, and install a lumpy cam.
what I need is help in deciding on a forged short block and best outfit to purchase from. is it possible to buy a forged short block under 3k?
thanks

Thank you, comes in right around 3900.00 with the few add ons required, best price I've seen for forged bottom end and aluminum block.

Lingenfelter parts come with a built in up charge, but you can use the decal. So, why are you ditching your SC? Tired of the power?

wonder why ERL only rates their setup good to only 600hp while AES has 1200hp using same internals? Block material?
