Need help diagnosing this weird noise..video inside..
I was driving this morning and all of a sudden i noticed this noise coming from the shifter area...sounds like a band saw.lol
Has anyone had this noise before and what was it.
Also have a looser feel to shifter and a clunking when i go into gear like a shaft moving forward and back. Sounds like something rubbing splines. I am leaning towards the bearings bad in the torque tube/prop shaft? maybe bad coupler? Seems to drive and shift OK except for added play and clunking and band saw noise.
Please comment on if you have had or have seen a post about this same noise. I have a few events coming up and need to fix this.

Sounds like the front Torque tube coupler is shredded… do a search for Torque tube coupler, great link below.
