I was driving the other day and on occasion there would be a slight bogging down during acceleration. It does not happen that often but does happen on occasion. Is this anything I should be majorly concerned about? Is there anything that I can check or tweak that may correct the problem? It also seems to blow alot of black smoke at high RPM. I feel like the smell of fuel is fairly strong but I do not know if this is normal for a modded vette. I just purchased this vehicle a few months ago from another member of these forums. Check this rev video out and you will see what I am talking about. Motor only has 10,000 miles on it. It does have a cartek stage 2 package.
Is it cammed? If so it's "normal" but could probably be worked out by a good tuner. Black smoke generally = running rich, again, can be solved by a tuner
Edit: Sorry didn't realize it was during acceleration, it shouldn't be doing that. Are there any codes?

Yes it is cammed. I checked codes and there is only one which has to do with the left front wheel speed sensor. C1232H
If its not all the time you may have a pump getting weak. It could also be a issue in the tune. If the fuel filter is old then replace it for good measurement. Dirty Injector is a maybe.. would think it would do it all the time if the injector was dirty.. this is where i would start.
* Test fuel pressure if it dips when the car bogs then replace pump
* Replace Fuel filter (IIRC it has the regulator built in the filter)
* Fuel System Cleaner (I Like BG44k)
* Retune
