Default Mounting Cell Phone Antennae

I am looking finishing a hands free installation for a Nokia cell phone. This is the factory model so it requires hard wiring, etc. The question is where does one mount the external antennae? Can you mount it inside the car as I've seen done with a CB antennae? If you mount it on the rear glass on a coupe, is there any areas to stay away from. Any ideas on this would be appreciated as a search of the forum didn't turn up anything. Thanks!

I have a Star-Tac unit and I went with what is called a "patch antenna." It attaches to the rear hatch glass on the inside using some stick'um. You then run your antenna cable to the side of the antenna cable port.. It works great and can't even tell it is there. A good seller of phones, one that does installs, should be able to hook you up with one. Don't remember what it cost me. Verizon sold me the phone, the service and the "hands-off" kit with the antenna. If you have one of their outlets near you, give them a try. Good luck.
