I'm about to put headers on my 04 Z and I plan on deleting the AIR system while its off. Does anybody know a part number to a plug/block off for the hose that plugs into the air box? I'm putting a vararam on the car at the same time and I don't want to just put a vacumm cap over the L fitting I'd rather have a cleaner look.
There are block-off kits for the intake manifold and for the exhaust manifolds. I'm not sure if any of the vendors on here sell one; I bought a kit off ebay.
I'm talking about the housing the actual air filter sits in. The hose coming off of it on the drivers side I'll be removing and I want to cap the hole.

I used a rubber stopper from lowes. Duct tape would even work

If you did not get the Vararam unit yet call me at 713-477-8100
and we can do a box without the hole for you.

I had to plug this hole on my Callaway Honker when I removed my air pump system. I looked around my stock of useless junk and couldn't come up with the right size good looking plug. And then it hit me. I had a quart of Castro Edge synthetic oil and the cap looked to be the right size and texture. I cut the threaded part of the cap off so that I had a flat piece remaining of the cap. I sanded the edges smooth and used some RTV adhesive and glued it on. It works perfectly and looks like it belongs there. Totally unnoticeable, and it works.
