Column Lock......did it solve the problem?
I had the column lock fixed as soon as my car was delivered last spring (because it locked during delivery).
They replaced the lock with the part number they used during the 98-00 recall (because I have a 97 mine was not included......still don't understand that :confused: ).
Now I've been told during the recall they replaced a wiring harness and some wires.
What I want to know is do I still have to worry about the column lock because of my old wiring harness/wires??????
I could save some time crossing Lake Michigan on the ferry if I wasn't afraid of the dam thing locking up on me.
Any thoughts? Much appreciated.
