Default C5 Manual Swap

I have a 2000 C5 with an A4 and I'm switching to a Z06 M12, with diff and all. My question isn't to convince me to stay auto or what your opinion is on the matter, its simply if someone can help me with a complete parts list needed to swap.

Thanks guys

Not that hard of a list, I have seen trans/diff combo on craigslist for 800-1000. Torque tube prob get from a wrecked car. And of course the bell housing, flywheel clutch assembly. The pedal setup easiest from wrecked car as well. If you find donor car be sure to grab rear wiring harness as well

Wow another member that thinks he knows everything. I've tried searching and have all I need just wanted to get as many details as I can and learn. I've built several cars and I want to do this right. When you want to learn about your car, let me know. Have a great day, thanks for your concern.

hmm, OK...

Clutch Pedal and hardware
Clutch Master Cyl.
Slave Cyl.
Bellhousing
Flywheel
Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate
Rear Diff.
Torque Tube
Transmission
Shifter
DOT 3 fluid
Dex 3 ATF
Syn 75w90 gear oil

Also recommend installing a speed bleeder

You may need additional parts, like bolts for each component.

How about the harness like someone else mentioned? I don't see a 4L60E harness plugging into a T56, but on the plus side he won't have to deal with that damn skip shift.

You will also need:
Definitely! Get the speed bleeder.
Clutch pedal assembly (w/3-bolt mounting bracket).
Clutch Cruise Control switch and connector (w/electrical leads)
Clutch Start Switch and connector (w/electrical leads)
Brake pedal (narrow).
Shift Rod (w/roll pin).
A manual transmission wiring harness. Make sure it is the exact same year and correct options for your car. (i.e. F55 ).

As far as the wiring goes, you basically need to change how the pinout from the transmission harness connector connects to the PCM. I have created a wire map to "re-pin" the PCM connector to support the MN6/MN12. You also need to wire in the clutch cruise and clutch start safety switches.

You can see the file here:

Good Luck.

You will also need a PCM (.bin) file for a manual transmission (same OS as your original file). Transfer your VIN and engine tune to the new manual PCM file and load it into your vehicle.
