SOB! I just went out to wash my car today (in the process now) and there is this junk all down the driver side of the car. Took me a minute to figure out what it was, but I am pretty sure it is gum. Must have been on the tire because there are about 30 strands of it all down the side of the car. It is dried on now. And the soap + water aren't doing anything. Maybe it isn't gum?
How can I remove it without scratching the finish?!?!
Re: SOB! Help! How do I remove it? (Brett C5 SCCA)
I've had gum on the car like this three times this year!? :reddevil Many dummies through their gum out the window, just like their cigarette butts. Stupid! However, WD-40 comes to the rescue again...... great stuff. :smash: :yesnod:

Excellent! WD-40 it is! And if not that, I'll bust out the Brake-Kleen
Thanks for the tips. I don't have time now, but will definitely try to get it all off tonight. It is EVERYWHERE. All along the door, the lower sill, the rear rim and 1/4 panel. There are even a few bits wrapped around onto the bumper! Grrrrrr..... I'd like to crack the person that caused this! :mad
