Default C5 Headlight Problem

My 04 vette is doing crazy things with the lights and hopefully somebody can help me with it. The headlamp module was bad, so I replaced it with a used one I bought on ebay (I actually bought 2 and saved one). After that, the lights were working perfectly. I tested both modules to ensure they were both working properly. While I was washing the vette yesterday, the left light popped up on its own. Then it lowered, and the right one popped up. It did that a couple of times and stopped. I took the module out and realized the module had been oppened and repaired previously but not sealed properly, so the water got in it. I replaced it with the other one. Now the lights open properly when turned on. When I turn off the lights, both lights close but the left light comes out again. I closed it manually and tried it several times, but it continues doing the same thing.

It sounds to me like you have another bad module, I could be wrong. Sometimes it is worth it to pay the price at the dealer.

Appreciate the input. I do think that is what the problem is. I guess I was worried that it could be something else that got damaged with the water short. I won't be able to test the theory until I get back home. I'll be away from Texas here at Missouri until March. Talk about timing... I just got the snow storm.
