Hate to be the bearer of BAD news, but I am 99.99% sure that it is the rear cover gasket that has blown out, and not the cam sensor O-ring leaking. The oil leak in your picture is exactly the same as the one I had. The rear cover/gasket/seal kit fixed it right up. My son and I did it on the ground without a lift. Bought a heavy duty transmission jack from H**bor F***ght, and rolled the entire rear suspension, diff, trans, and torque tube assembly out. Also used a regular floor jack on the front of the torque tube. The transmission jack was a bit of overkill since it is rated for 2000 lbs, but it was nice and sturdy, rolled smoothly, and made maneuvering the whole thing much easier. Cost about $300.00 regular price, but you can get 20% off coupons all over the place. Saved way more than that v/s having the stealership do it for me, and I get to keep the jack.

Default Thanks, I didn't think it was possible for the cam sensor o-ring to leak that badly.

I was pretty sure that it was the rear cover but hoping for a quick fix. Looks like I know what I'm doing this weekend.
