Left Actuator Feedback Short To Ground.................................. .
my check engine light come on in my car a week ago and i went through the codes and it only showed this code as a current and history. this is what the code means-- left actuator feedback short to ground. what is this. has anyone ever had this problem. my car runs great. its a 1998.

This code B0361 (which usually also has a B0441 along with it) is regarding the left side HVAC electronic temperature control actuator for the driver's side A/C temperature door. You most likely need a new actuator -they got bad internally and the sensor sends incorrect data back to the HVAC controller. I have a brand new GM actuator if you need it e-mail me and let me know for the specifics. I'll definately beat the dealer's price! Mikesana@bellsouth.net
