Weird Brake Lights Issue....Or Not??
C5 in garage...engine off...key not in ignition....I stepped on brake pedal....
friend standing in back pointed out that the 2 left brake lights were out...just right 2 & center light were on. Couldn't figure out why. Then realized turn signal stem was in "left" position. I moved it to neutral/center position & all brake lights came on when I stepped on brake. So I tried it again, this time moving turn signal stem to "right" position. Now the right 2 brake lights were out & left 2 were on. Also tried it with stock bulbs....same thing.
Thing is, I have no idea if it was always like this, or has something to do with my recently installed LED taillights, turn signal sequencer, & hyperflash harness. And how would turn signal indicator effect brake lights if ignition is off?

Here is why:
The yellow wire from the Multifunction switch is the one for the rear driver side turn signals and brake lights.
The 3rd brake light goes around all this directly from the brake petal switch.
