Default Fast 92 and?

I have checked the forum to no avail hence my question. Okay late 99 convertible. Have a Fast 92, LS2 silver blade TB, 90mm LS6 MAF.Waiting on the 1 7/8" XS long tube non catted headers before slapping it all together. That will be the extend of my mods, Not interested in cams, working on heads etc. Doing some research ti showed my injectors are 26lb. SO for any who have done it....stick with the 26# injectors or upgrade to go along with the other parts listed? If i get higher pressure injectors which ones to go with?

Its unlikely you will need to replace the injectors for the addition of headers and an intake. Add a Vararam and a tune.

I knew i forgot to list something! Have the Vararam as well. Just waiting on the headers to install it all at one time.

I had very close to the same mods on my 99 and the injectors worked fine.

That's strange.. I did exactly the same mods on my 99 coupe. Fast92, self ported LS2 TB, and later 85mm MAF (with a K&N intake). I did not even have headers and I was at 90% duty cycle after the tune. If I did LT's like the OP is planning, the cycle would have been even greater.. Upwards of 90% you run the risk of the injectors just staying open at WOT right?

Needless to say, I upgraded the injectors with my H/C swap. Still waiting on my LT's from Pfadt..

The only way to know for sure will be to check the duty cycle during the tune. In which case it would be a bad time to find out you need larger, then have to wait and re-tune.. But if the car will be done with engine mods, I'd try to get by with the stock injectors.

When you have it tuned, ask the tuner what the duty cycle your Fuel Injectors are running at.

If they are over 80% at WOT then get larger injectors.
